I've always enjoyed flying in video games and preferred helicopters over fixed wings. I love watching videos about aviation but this series is amazing. A different style. I can't wait to leave my old career as a Designer and to begin my Helicopter journey!

It continues to be an absolute delight to see you (Clint) like a kid in a candy shop all nervous and unsure. Since I've mostly ever seen you in situations where you are supremely confident, it's a fun behind the scenes. As for really living, getting back on stage and speaking this past year has probably been the biggest one for me. It really felt like coming home. Also, getting to take my kids up into the mountains and climb around Vedauwoo has been that this summer. Just a perfect blend of nostalgia, family, and activity in the beauty of nature.

When Kelly said "He's put in the effort, he belongs up there." (I got teary eyed and I don't know why!) My most recent moment of really living? The last two years I have taken off the entire month of January from work and relocated to warm climate, got off the grid, and lived in the moment daily for a short term. Life changing for me. My second favorite part of this episode is when you said "Whisper of a thrill..." Great line, great show. Thank you for sharing. See you soon.

Being a teacher means to be having many skills, one of these skills is how to be a great observer and helper, how to be able to find the time to help the students and listen to their needs and inside call for help. So teaching is not only about subjects or sticking to the curriculum.

It's truely inspiring. Being a teacher myself I wish to have this impact on my students w be a reason for them to find themselves. I believe that this is a valuable lesson for all, teacher or not, to think before judge and find ways to utilise what people may think is a flaw to an advantage. Thank you Mr.Jensen, I hope there are many more of you in this world.

Every time I watch this video, it brings tears to my eyes. It shows the real motive behind why I became a teacher. Teaching is a very challenging and tiring job, but it's also incredibly fulfilling. I believe that dedicated teachers have the power to change their students' lives, even if they don't always get to see the impact they make.

I like the way Mr. Jensen handled the issue. He could help the student Clint effectively. I would follow Mr. Jensen's example by understanding the reasons behind a student's behavior by following the strategies that Mr. Jenson did follow. Here is how: Here’s how: 1- I will watch the student’s behavior and ask questions to understand their perspective. 2- I will highlight the student’s strengths and interests, like how Mr. Jensen noticed Clint’s potential for drumming. 3- I will provide different ways for the student to engage in class, like letting them tap quietly or use fidget tools. 4- I will offer individual support and encouragement to help the student use their energy in positive ways.

Amazing and inspiring ... the more teachers who aim to make a difference in their students' lives not only by delivering academic material but also attending to their needs will help to create more people who have the will to change the world.

I conducted a training on last week for shift supervisors for an adolescent treatment facility. I showed this video to the team and asked the question, "Why was it important for me to show you this?" The first thing all said was "to make us cry" but it was what followed that was powerful. One of the supervisors stated the video was "an important lesson for supervisors not to react so quickly with the conclusion to fire a direct report when a situation is contrary". The team left the class experience empowered to show more patience towards others and shifting solution of an action plan of support and training before giving up. Thanks for assisting in getting this point across. This was beautiful.

I just started working in a school setting last school year and I’ve been told multiple times that I shouldn’t grow too close to students and I should protect my mental health (mostly from outsiders but even from some within the building). Talking to students is my favorite part of my job and I’ve found that so many just want to be heard, and need someone to vent to. It’s heartbreaking but I wouldn’t trade those conversations for “a little peace”. I will continue to strive to be a Mr.Jensen!❤

As a teacher, I watched this video as part of a course called: "Teaching Students with Behavioural Needs". Getting to know the students is exactly the model of teaching that we are striving for. Learning about what they find motivating, interesting, frustrating and heartbreaking, is important for building trust and getting to understand the person behind the behaviour. If you can learn these things, you now have the information you need to really help them, both making personal connections to the curriculum and shifting problematic behaviours to more constructive ones. Probably the most important aspect of behaviour to keep in mind is that it is not about you, the teacher. They may be reacting to what you have done or said, but their reaction also comes from patterns of behaviour and personal issues that came long before you.

I would love to drum with you as a Paraeducator and a percussionist myself. I saw your Be Mr. Jenson video at an orientation for Paraeducators in the Anoka-Hennepin district. When I was in elementary school, I was very much like you tapping and drumming all the time in class (that was in the mid to late 80s into the 90s). I took up band in 6th grade and never knew where where it would lead me to. It got me into high school winter indoor drumline from 92 to when I graduated in 98. In 1997, I had a friend who told me that I had a gift. He got me to audition for the (Bassline) for the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps from LaCrosse Wisconsin and toured with the Corps. After that one year, I graduated high school and then served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After my full-time mission, I auditioned for Minnesota Brass on their Bassline and marched with them for a season. For me, my friend Thomas Burton Reimer was my Mr. Jensen and in grade school, it was my 6th grade teacher who found that in me. So, your story really hits home. Now, as a dad, I have 2 sons who love drumming, and one has Autism and he also loves Teakwando. My oldest son wants to someday march as well. As a Paraeducator, I'm going to use your story as I can find ways to be a Mr. Jenson to my kids that I work with as well as for my sons. Thank you so much for sharing that story. And from one drummer to another, we should do a marching snare duet or battle if you ever come to the twin cities (Coon Rapids Minnesota). I cried watching your video and other videos. You inspire me.
